WE ARE ALL F
Geeks, Weirdos, Nerds & Creatives
Hey, I’m Shelly. Coffee Snob, beer drinker, head honcho, chief sweeper upper.
It all started with me. Photographer, writer, entrepreneur, and lover of all things cool, quirky and creative. My wardrobe is mainly made up of black hoodies and a variety of hats. I’m a massive music fan, a Glasto girl, and I’m a proper tight Northerner. I started We Are All F so that people like you didn’t have to waste time trying to find ten different companies to handle all your business needs. We don’t have the ping pong table or the bean bags to hang out on – but we do meet for overpriced cocktails occasionally and a round of mini golf. Rock n roll!

WHERE IT ALL STARTED
THE ORIGIN STORY
I’ve always been a grafter. I washed cars at age 9 for pocket money so I could ride the Dodgems at the local fair. My Dad used to insist I help him whilst he did DIY – thankfully I never lost a finger but he instilled a good work ethic and gave me the recipe for Cornbeef stew – so pretty much nailed on that I wasn’t going to become a Michelin-starred chef. Instead I joined a newsroom where there were three hour lunchbreaks in the pub interspersed with frantically writing stories 20 minutes before deadline.
I’ve done some crazy jobs in my time, including writing for newspapers and national magazines, interviewing TV & Film celebs, worked in PR for big clients such as Range Rover, Marks & Spencer & the National Lottery, and did a degree in Landscape Architecture – yeah that came in useful!
I became a photographer completely by accident after a mate slipped a disc in his back and insisted I was now the photographer in the office.

THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
THE INTERNET
I got the camera, I got the lenses. I just needed some clients. How the heck do you get those? Thankfully, the internet was just about to explode. I figured I’d build a website that wasn’t boring like all the other photographers and taught myself to code in order to do it. A few years later, I embraced digital marketing to ensure I was getting the clients I wanted. I discovered CRMs and lead magnets, and built a website for a friend. It all kinda escalated and now we have a team of people who spend their days doing all this stuff for lovely people like you.

FAST FORWARD TO THE PRESENT DAY
WE ARE ALL FRIENDS
Our little band of nerds, geeks and creatives joined forces without it actually being official. No-one sat down and said: “let’s start a business!”. It all just sort of happened without us noticing. Several years later, we’re all still here.
Ian (the computer geek) is a tea lover and wine gum connoisseur. He spends his days doing complicated computer wizardry and occasionally tries to explain it to us whilst our eyes glaze over. He used to be a DJ in the 80s and bores us with music facts on a regular basis.
Vic is the social media junkie who creates content, writes newsletters and blog posts and dreams up schemes to get brands more visible. She’s the good cop to my bad cop and lives half the year in the mountains.
Meanwhile, I do the design stuff, photography and video stuff, and drink coffee whilst dreaming about when I can go snowboarding again. My special skill is not recognising famous people.
We have a couple of other team members who support us as we cause mayhem – weirdly they are brother and sister. Thankfully, they are never in the same room at the same time so there’s no awkwardness or fighting.
PUMP UP THE VOLUME
We like to listen to our clients and get to know exactly what they need before we join forces. We’re not some ‘one size fits all’ kinda agency. We’re the kinda people who listen to a full album on headphones in a darkened room – so we like to take our time to discover the nuances of your business the same way we listen to music.
