The Crooked Tap – Commercial Video
Everyone who knows me knows I love a nice craft beer. I’m very partial to trying all kinds of lovely real ale and craft beer whenever I can, so when The Crooked Brewer asked me to shoot their lovely bar The Crooked Tap in Acomb, York, it was like all my birthdays at once!
The Crooked Tap is my kind of pub… welcoming, down to earth, lovely staff and friendly customers. It’s also hugely dog friendly so feel free to bring your four legged friend. It’s also pretty kid friendly too and I counted four babies at one point on a Friday evening.
It’s a pretty chilled place, no airs and graces, just really great booze and the odd foodie night such as curry night or pizza at weekends.
These guys are in the middle of having a new website, so they needed some on brand images to match their shiny new site. It meant hanging round a bar taking pictures and making video so huge thanks to all the customers who let me poke my camera in their faces whilst they enjoyed a pint or two.
I also shot a mini video because along with great photography, video can be just as powerful in raising your brand awareness and establishing a connection with your audience and potential clients.
