Tramadol & Alcohol – New Single from The Hijacked
When it comes to music videography and photography, it is possibly the least unglamorous thing I do.
It’s generally in a gritty unloved back room, or a studio filled with no natural light. The days are long and there’s only so many times you can perform a track before you ears give up. Yep, creating a music video is not for the feint of heart.
But hanging out with the guys from the Hijacked to record the video for their new single was a blast. They make music videography simple. Plus they are all comedy geniuses.
Filmed at a local live music venue, using only available natural light, the boys wanted a gritty, urban, look – made easier by the fact that the club is all of these things!
See what I mean when I say it’s not glamorous? It’s hot, sweaty and there might be some swearing. But I love every minute of it. Yes, my feet stuck to the carpet but there is nothing quite like shooting music videography at 11am on a sunday morning in a sweaty club.
